GHK-Cu and TB-500

Co-administered

Two peptides discussed for wound healing. One early human pilot put both in the same multi-ingredient formula, which is not the same as testing the pair.

How the two mechanisms relate

Neutral. TB-500, a thymosin beta-4 fragment, and GHK-Cu, a copper peptide studied for skin remodeling, were co-administered in the cited work, but both sit in tissue-repair research rather than acting on clearly distinct pathways.

This reading describes mechanism and is editorial. The grade above is the published record.

The compounds

GHK-Cu

A naturally occurring copper peptide studied mostly for skin remodeling and wound healing. Its strongest human result is an older randomized ulcer study.

TB-500

A short fragment of thymosin beta-4. Almost all outcome data are animal or laboratory, and the one human randomized trial used the full parent peptide, not the fragment.
